About me:
I'm Tamar, 26, a textile design student at Shenkar College in Ramat Gan, specializing in print and weaving, with a soft spot (literally) for soft products.
I grew up in Shadmot Dvora, a small village surrounded by open skies, wild nature, and plenty of inspiration.
Textiles are the language I’ve chosen to explore the world.
I love getting to know materials up close - feeling their textures, understanding their behavior, and discovering how they respond when handled, stretched, printed, or woven.
Each project is an invitation to play, experiment, and dive into new techniques.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m probably diving underwater, hiking through the mountains, baking something sweet, or getting lost in music. These experiences feed into my creative process and help shape the way I think, feel, and design.
I’m endlessly curious — about materials, methods, and the stories we can tell through craft. For me, designing is about asking “what if?”, following the answers wherever they lead, and embracing every twist in the journey.
